A letter to a friend

Dear Dani
Thanks for your letter, I see that in Fridays you're busy.

My favourite day of the week is Saturday. One reason I love Saturday is because I can sleep the perfect amount of hours that I need without waking up too late. I also like Saturdays because I can go to sleep when I want. Another reason is that I can go to the gym in the morning, and I love it.
The bad part of the day is the afternoon because I have to do my homework and study for my exams. I don't like doing it but I understand that it's very important.
The best part of the day is after having dinner because usually I can go to discos or I meet my friends somewhere.

Writing 1:

Hi Peter/Susan

My name is Quim and I'm 15. I'm a high school student and I love computer games, meeting my friends and travelling. I think that I'm an honest person, so I hate dishonest people who never tell the truth, The name of my school is "Casa Nostra" and my favourite subjects are Maths and English.

Writing 2:

Last year my friend Sam went to Tahiland with his girlfriend. He told me that the weather was perfect and that the beach was like a paradise. I'm sure that he loved the beach. He also told me that he and his girlfriend made a trip through Thailand with the motorbike, he says that he loved the trip because he was able to see many places, but that he hated having to stop every 80km to refuel the motorbike.

Times Square

Times Square is one of the most visited places of the world.
Before the 90 Times Square used to have bad reputation, but in 1990 the Mayor of New York cleaned it up and transformed it into one of the most important places of the city.
Put a advertising on Times Square is very expensive.
Brodway road is now 53 km long and it goes trough Times Square.
People spends more than 4.8 billion dollars there every year.

A beautiful photo

Why have you chosen this photo?

Well I have chosen this photo because for me it represents life when you're young, because now I'm at the start, and even though I know that there's an end, I can't see it. When I look at the photo, I feel like I'm at the start of something, and that I have all the time I want to explore the road. The photo gives me a feeling of freedom, I look at the trees and I feel like if I could breath and smell the air in that place. At the same time, the photo makes me feel like if I was there alone, makes me feel more relaxed and I can think about my path in life, it makes me think in what I want or what I don't want. The photo makes me feel like I'm there with the nature. I would like to be there, watching this, listening some music and thinking in something. I think that I've chosen this photo because it makes me feel good, and it gives me peace.

Explain the photo

In the foreground of this photo we can see a road, that goes until the background. In the left side of the road there's a forest, and in the right side there's some trees and a I would say that after the trees there's a lake. In the photo you can't see the end of the road. The road is a bit wet, I guess it's because of the rain. In the photo the sun isn't visible. The trees are very tall and I can only see a little part of the sky. In the photo we can see a lot of vegetation, so I guess that it was taken in a forest or something similar. In the photo the place looks like anyone has been there for a long time. 

My Trip to Italy

Hi I'm Quim Font, and here I'm going to talk about my trip to Italy. I'll talk about the things that I liked most and the tings that I didn't like that much.

During my trip to Italy, we visited Verona, the city were te story between Romeo and Juliette happens. Although it's a beautiful city wit some amazing buildings, I think that it's a bit small and that it doesn't have many interesting places to explore.

During the trip we also visited Florence, and that's the part of the trip that I enjoyed most because that city has some incredible art pieces like the David of Michelangelo, or the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore with its amazing dome. One of the things that I enjoyed most was climbing to the top of the dome of the cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, up there, I had a panoramic view of the city and I was able to see that spectacular view.

One of the things that I didn't like of the trip is that the restaurants where we went didn't offer good quality pasta or pizzas, so, I left Italy without tasting one of those awesome pasta dishes.

Although there were some things I didn't like of the trip, I think that it was a great trip, I learned a lot and I enjoyed being there.

My classmates summer

Berta- She went to Irelad for 2 weeks in a falmily.

She also went to venice. She visited a lot of places in Venice.

Abril- She went to London. Her favourite place of londos is the london eye.

She trained 6 hours a day.

Andreu- He didn't enjoy the visit to Sagrada Familia. He celebrated his birthday with his family. 

Marc- He went to Sagaro with his parents. He played to mingolf.

Arnau- He made a lot of friends. He went to the beach.

Sergi- He went to a summer camp to learn english. He went to Istanbul.
